Curriculum: Performing Arts
| In Year 7 & 8 all students
participate in Performing Arts. This subject is a combination
of classroom music theory and introductory drama skills.
Students who wish to learn an instrument may enrol in the College Instrumental Music program. Students enrolled in this programme pay a per term fee to learn an instrument in small groups. There is also a fee for hire of the instrument if needed. Students are withdrawn from class for one half-hour lesson per week. These lessons are rotated through the timetable so that students do not miss the same lessons each week. The opportunity is also provided for students to become members of the College Stage Band, Concert Band or choir.  |
