Curriculum

At Mary MacKillop College we are very proud of our curriculum. Recent changes and forward planning has positioned our College at the cutting edge of where schools should be with respect to facing the challenges of education in the 21st century.

A glimpse into the future of our students shows that they will:

  • Be involved in formal education or training throughout their lifetime.

  • Have 3 or 4 different occupations during a lifetime.

  • Be involved in a variety of job patterns.

  • Be involved in jobs / careers that don’t yet exist.

  • Be involved in occupations that utilise technology that has not yet been developed or is not currently accessible.
  • Have 6 to 10 changes in jobs.

2007 College captains:

These challenges require a dynamic, and flexible curriculum that nurtures and develops the academic, spiritual and pastoral needs of our students. At Mary MacKillop College we are confident that we achieve these high ideals.
